Our Moroccan Member is in the press!

L’Economiste, the leading economic newspaper in Morocco, features the Moroccan Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) over 4 pages on the Regulator’s priorities.

The Regulatory Authority, which recently became effectively operational with the nomination of the Board, has set an ambitious strategy for 2021-2025. The Regulator’s President Eng. Abdellatif Bardach, shares his priorities on the liberalisation of the electricity market, the unbundling of ONEE, the access to the transport network, as well as on tariffs, self-consumption and hydrogen.

 MEDREG is pleased to announce the publication of the book “ Regulation & Investments in Energy Markets - Solutions for the Mediterranean” that collects the most relevant contribution produced by the first MEDREG Forum and several additional interventions from Mediterranean energy experts and researchers.

This publication, issued on the European Energy Journal under the title Establishing a Regional Mediterranean Electricity Market: Assessment and Strategy, has been developed by members of the Ad-hoc Group on Electricity Issues and the Secretariat, on the basis of a recent MEDREG study on the matter.
