Highlighting the role of regulation in fostering energy clean technologies

Celebrating the Mediterranean

In its new institutional video, MEDREG celebrates the richness of the Mediterranean region’s history and culture and its high potential in terms of renewable energy, natural gas and strategic geographical position for energy transit.
It also tells how the organisation contributes to foster stability, prosperity and social welfare in the region through regulatory cooperation and the sharing of best practices, with the ultimate goal to create an integrated Euro-Mediterranean energy market.
Accompanying Jordan’s efforts towards a more efficient and greener energy market

From 19 to 21 March, the MEDREG Secretariat met with important Jordanian energy players including MEDREG’s Jordanian member EMRC, the EU delegation to Jordan and other governmental, business and institutional organisations. These various exchanges enabled MEDREG to grasp Jordan’s current energy priorities and challenges, allowing the organisation to define its support activities for the coming months in line with the actual needs of its member and in coherence with the national energy context.
